OPD Treatment for Following Services

Kidney Transplant

A kidney transplant is a surgery done to replace a diseased kidney with a healthy kidney from a donor.

During the Kidney transplant, you will place the donated kidney in the lower abdomen, connect the blood vessels of the donated kidney to the arteries and veins of your body, and connect the kidney ureter donated to the bladder. The blood can then flow through the new kidney and the kidney will begin to filter and eliminate waste and produce urine.

Hemodialysis

Dialysis is a procedure to remove waste products and excess fluid from the blood when the kidneys stop working properly.

When the kidneys are healthy, they cleanse their blood. They also produce hormones that keep your bones strong and your blood healthy. When the kidneys fail, treatment is needed to replace the work they performed. Unless you receive a kidney transplant, you will need a treatment called dialysis.

Peritoneal Dialysis

Renal replacement therapy (RRT) is therapy that replaces the normal blood-filtering function of the kidneys.

Renal replacement therapy, is used in a variety of situations where the kidneys are not able to maintain homeostasis, or balance, in the body. It is used to help remove excess waste and fluid from the body and maintain electrolyte balance. There are several different types of RRT, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and hemofiltration.

Slowing of Kidney Disease By Treatment

Following a kidney-friendly diet may help you slow the progression of kidney disease.

When renal failure reaches an advanced stage, periodic monitoring is carried out in a specific consultation for it (ACKD), in which more frequent revisions are made and all the complications of renal failure are closely controlled and treated and all the factors that can worsen and accelerate the evolution to more advanced stages: medications and toxins, high blood pressure, obesity, and diet.

Kidney Donation

Donating your kidney is a potentially life-saving gift.

There should be a better interaction amongst different specialists in identifying a potential brain-dead donor. Professional ego and inadequate incentivization should not come in way of active cadaver transplant service. Dedicated social workers and transplant coordinators should be appointed in major hospitals to promote organ donation.

Home Dialysis Treatments

Peritoneal dialysis is the most common home dialysis treatment.

Peritoneal dialysis is a very simple technique that is performed daily at the patient’s home, there are two types: Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) or manual and Automatic Peritoneal Dialysis (APD) with machine or cycler.

Kidney Failure Treatments

Acute kidney failure occurs when your kidneys suddenly become unable to filter waste products from your blood.

Kidney transplantation involves receiving a kidney that will make it possible to replace the functions that have been lost due to kidney failure. There are two types of kidney transplant:

  • The kidney transplant from a living donor
  • Kidney transplant from cadaver donor

Breathing Problems

Asthma is a chronic respiratory disease that affects millions of people worldwide. It causes inflammation and narrowing of the airways, making it difficult to breathe.

The symptoms of asthma can vary from person to person, but some common signs include wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing. These symptoms can range from mild to severe and can be triggered by a variety of factors, such as exercise, allergies, cold air, and stress.

Nervous Systems Ailments

Nervous system alignment problems can cause a variety of symptoms, including headaches, neck pain, and dizziness.

In some cases, nervous system alignment problems can also lead to mood changes or cognitive issues, such as trouble concentrating or memory problems. If you experience any of these symptoms, it is important to seek medical attention to determine the underlying cause and find appropriate treatment options.

Diabetes Care

Diabetes Care is the management and treatment of diabetes, a chronic condition that affects the way your body processes blood sugar (glucose).

It is a critical aspect of diabetes management as it aims to prevent complications such as heart disease, blindness, and kidney failure. Diabetes Care involves monitoring blood sugar levels, taking medication as prescribed, following a healthy diet, and engaging in physical activity.

Heart Problems

Acute kidney failure occurs when your kidneys suddenly become unable to filter waste products from your blood.

The symptoms of heart disease vary depending on the type and severity of the condition, but common symptoms include chest pain or discomfort, shortness of breath, fatigue, dizziness or lightheadedness, irregular heartbeat, and swelling in the legs, ankles, or feet.

Hypertension Management

Hypertension management involves lifestyle changes and medication to control high blood pressure, a condition that can lead to heart disease, stroke, and other complications.

Hypertension, commonly known as high blood pressure, is a chronic medical condition that affects millions of people worldwide. It is characterized by consistently high blood pressure levels in the arteries, which can lead to serious health problems such as heart disease, stroke, and kidney damage.

Liver & Abdominal Problems

Liver and abdominal problems can manifest in various ways, and the symptoms may differ from one individual to another.

Some common symptoms of liver problems include jaundice, abdominal swelling, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, fatigue, and weight loss. Abdominal problems can also cause pain, discomfort, bloating, diarrhea, and constipation.
